TEAR AWAY CONVENTION

Life is full of sameness, the same commute, the same packed sandwiches, the same business clichés. But the world is changing, the way we work is evolving, and people are breaking away from conformity. As a result, the lines between culture, business and lifestyle are blurring like never before.

Let’s tear up the rule book,
tear up the tropes,
tear up typical.

51 Flinders acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri people, and recognises their ongoing connection to land, waters and community.

We pay our respects to the First Australians, and their Elders past, present and emerging.

The Wurundjeri is one of five clan groups who are collectively known as the Kulin Nation, and lived in the area we now recognise as south-central Victoria. It is believed that over 30 languages were spoken in Victoria when the region was colonized in 1835.

Melbourne has always been an important meeting place for the people of the Kulin Nation, and location for social, educational, cultural and sporting activities.
